Biography
A practice connecting cultural management, curating, performing arts and teaching.
I am Martin Inthamoussu, a cultural manager, curator and choreographer. My work connects artistic practice with institutional leadership, education and questions of cultural access. I am currently Deputy Art Curator at the World Bank Art Program, based in Washington, D.C.
In Uruguay, I served as President of SODRE from 2020 to 2022 and founded the Contemporary Dance Area of the National School of Dance. I also founded and directed the Montevideo Sitiada International Dance Festival from 2003 to 2018.
From 2022 to 2025, I worked as a creative economy consultant on initiatives involving cultural and creative industries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Teaching and academic coordination in cultural management are also part of my practice. My training includes Yale’s World Fellows program and the DeVos Institute of Arts Management, alongside a degree in Theatre Studies, a master’s in Communication and an MBA.
